Trading

Swap — exchanging one asset for another.

Pair — the two assets that can be exchanged in a pool.

Price impact — the price movement caused by your own trade.

Price tolerance / slippage — the additional price movement you agree to accept before a swap is stopped.

Minimum received — the lowest amount the swap is allowed to return.

Liquidity

Pool — a shared supply of two assets used for swaps.

Liquidity — assets deposited into a pool.

Liquidity provider — someone who adds assets to a pool and can earn part of its trading fees.

Position — your deposit in a pool, including its selected price range.

In range — the market price is inside your position's limits, so it can earn fees.

Out of range — the market price is outside your limits, so the position is not earning new fees.

APR — an estimate of yearly earnings if the recent rate continued. It is not guaranteed.

Wallet

Wallet — the app that holds your address and asks you to approve actions.

Network — the blockchain environment where transactions happen. Giwater currently uses GIWA Sepolia.

Network fee / gas — the small amount of test ETH paid to process a transaction.

Approval — permission for Giwater to use a selected asset for a later action.

Confirmation — the wallet step that submits an action to the network.

Rewards

Claim — moving earned pool fees or faucet assets into your wallet.

Points — testnet progress earned from missions. Points have no stated cash value.

Streak — consecutive days of completed mission activity.

Gacha pack — a testnet purchase that reveals one or more digital trading cards.

NFT — a unique digital item owned by a wallet. Giwater Gacha cards are testnet NFTs.
